Helen Narris

May 6, 1921 — October 5, 2022

Helen (Genese) Narris passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022, in Holden Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center.  Helen was born on May 6, 1921, to the late Antonio and Margaret (Conforti) Genese. Her beloved husband, James passed away in 1996.

She is survived by a son, Robert Narris and his wife Mary Anne of Northborough. A daughter, Linda and her husband Wayne of West Boylston. Loving grandmother of four grandchildren: Maura Herman, Jason Narris, Adam Narris, and Wayne J Friberg. She was so very proud of her nine great grandchildren. She is also survived by a loving nephew David Zinkowsky and his wife Karen of Charlton.

She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Circle of Friends. Her most enjoyable times were with her family and friends. She especially loved to spend time with her great-grand-children. Helen loved to cook. She took great pleasure during the holidays in preparing traditional Italian food. She loved to garden and decorate her home for the Seasons.

A period of calling hours will be held, Tuesday, October 11th from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., followed by a procession to Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Our Lady of Loreto Parish, 33 Massasoit Rd, Worcester  where her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester.
