Grace A. (DiLeo) DiBaro of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 21, 2025, at UMass Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Grace was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Italian immigrants, Adiego and Mary (Riganti) DiLeo. She was a lifelong resident of Worcester, where she graduated from David Hale Fanning Girls Trade School. After high school, Grace worked at David Clark, as a seamstress making fabrics and materials for World War II servicemen. On August 31, 1946, Grace married Dominic at Mt. Carmel Church in Worcester, and they went on to have four children. Grace worked for over 35 years for Price Chopper as a clerk in the produce department. She was loved by her co-workers and the customers she often socialized with while they shopped, retiring in 2020 only because of the pandemic.

Grace was a faithful member of Our Lady of Loreto Parish and a devoted Catholic, praying the rosary daily. She enjoyed volunteering at the Annual Italian Festival at the church. In addition to her church activities, she enjoyed traveling with her husband, Dominic, throughout Europe and going on cruises with family and friends. Her favorite trips, though, were the occasions she took her grandchildren to Disney World in Florida. At home, Grace enjoyed baking Italian cookies and making her famous Sunday gravy with meatballs. Her greatest delight was hosting Christmas Eve for her family, when she would make the traditional seven fishes. On these occasions, it was hard to get her out of the kitchen to enjoy dinner with the family.

Grace’s husband of 65 years, Dominic J. DiBaro, Sr., passed away in June 2011. She is survived by a son, Ronald J. DiBaro, and his wife, Carolyn, of Worcester; two daughters, Diane Morrone and Gina DiBaro, both of Worcester; five grandchildren, Marc Morrone and his wife Deb, Matthew Morrone and his wife Chrissy, Craig Morrone, Tanya Joubert and her husband Michael, and Tracy Lopez and her husband Vince; five great grandchildren, Milla Morrone, Madeline Grace Morrone, Joshua Morrone, Gus Joubert, and Lenny Joubert; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Besides her husband and parents, she is predeceased by a son, Dominic J. DiBaro, Jr., in 2000; four siblings, Catherine DePatsy, Antoinette Biuso, Angelina Stevens and Joseph Artuso; and her son-in-law, Frank Morrone in 2020

There are no calling hours. Grace’s funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 37 Massasoit Rd., Worcester. Burial will be held privately.
