Gary Shepard

Gary Shepard, 62, of Ayer, MA passed away peacefully on August 31, 2022, at home, surrounded by his loving family.  He was the beloved father of Jessica Shepard and Garett Shepard, loving grandfather of Kristiana and cherished son of George Shepard.

Gary grew up in Worcester and graduated from the Worcester Boys Trade High School.  Until a courageous battle with cancer forced him to retire, Gary was dedicated to his job as a carpenter.  He is remembered for his amazing sense of humor and most of all, for his role as a wonderful father and grandfather.

A period of calling hours will be held Sunday, September 4 from 12:00-2:00 pm at the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St, Worcester.
