Francis P. Paciello, 93, of East Sandwich, formerly of Worcester and Plainville, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023, in Falmouth Hospital. He is reunited with his wife, Althea (Notargiacomo) Paciello.
Francis is survived by three sons, Bernie W. Paciello and his wife Shirley, with whom he lived, Paul F. Paciello and his wife Susan of Princeton, and Robert “Bob” J. Paciello of Celina, Ohio; his long-time companion of twenty-five years, Kathleen Briano of Plainville; a brother, Anthony “Buddy” Paciello of New York City; five grandchildren, Dina Paciello, Lauren Paciello, Lisa Neeley (Chris), Christina Butler (Mike), and Joe Paciello (Hilary); eight great-grandchildren, Kyle and Amani Gerardi, Sophie and Grace Neeley, John and Luke Butler, Jack and Lucy Paciello; nieces and nephews. He is also survived by Kathleen’s children, Jerry Catanzariti (Karen) and Cheryl Gardella (Chris), and their children. Francis was born in Worcester, son of the late Rocco and Mary (Manzello) Paciello.
Francis grew up in Worcester and worked for Wyman-Gordon Company for over forty years, retiring as production foreman. He enjoyed golf and was a talented football and baseball player in his youth. He enjoyed being with family and was always happiest surrounded by loved ones.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather Friday morning, September 15, at MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. for a time of visitation, followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow in Notre Dame Mausoleum, Worcester.
