Francis "Topper" Chase

Francis “Topper” Chase, 87, of Worcester, passed away in his home peacefully Thursday, May 22, 2025. He was the beloved husband of 57 years to the late Beverly “Mimi” (Dinsmore) Chase.

He is survived by his loving son, Brian, and his partner, Tina, of Clinton; his son-in-law, Frank; his adored grandchildren, Carissa, Natalie, Anneliese, and Tia; and his dear great grandchildren, Delainey and Chase—first boy in the family for over 50 years. In addition to his beloved wife, Topper was predeceased by his children, Jeffrey and Terri.

Born in Marlborough on December 26, 1937, Topper was the son of the late Mary Chase. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University and went on to enjoy a 40-year career as an administrator at Raytheon before retiring.

Topper was a kind, easygoing, and loving man who always put his family before himself; he will be missed by all whose lives were touched by his generous heart.
