Frances (Wisialko) Woods

Frances A. (Wisialko) Woods, 87, of Framingham, passed away with loved ones gathered at her side, Monday, August 4, 2025.

Frances was born in Framingham, the daughter of Chester and Rose (Grzobska) Wisialko. Raised in Framingham, Frances met Waldo C. Woods, Jr. they married and devoted their lives to each other and their three children, Gary P. Woods (Shannon) of Natick, Donna Gagne of Oxford, Ga, David Woods and his wife Kim of Independence, West Virginia; four grandchildren she cherished; a sister, Helen Vigor (Leo) in Connecticut; nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to her husband, a brother, Chester “Ozzy” predeceased her. Frances worked many years for the White Hen convenience stores.

Frances was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed crossword and Jigsaw puzzles, and the beaches of Eastham on Cape Cod. Her fondest memories were those spend during family gatherings, the holidays, and special occasions. She was an incredible mother who dedicated her entire life to caring for her family.

All arrangements are being handled by Mercadante Funeral Home and Chapel, 370 Plantation St in Worcester, MA. Per Frances’s request, there will be no services, and her final resting place will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, located in Bourne, MA. Next to Waldo.
