Evandro P. Barroso

Evandro P. Barroso, 59, of Worcester, passed away, Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at UMass Hospital in Worcester.

Evandro is survived by his wife, Tathyane Alves-Barroso; a son, Randy Barroso and his wife Vanessa; a daughter, Stephanie Barroso; six siblings, Elvio, Erasmo, Reuber, Elaine, Chenia, and Natecia; two granddaughters, Salomé and Solana; many nieces and nephews. He was born in Guanhães, Brasil, son of Joao B. Barroso and Maria D. N. Perreira. 

Evandro worked as a cook for many years in the Worcester area including Barber’s Crossing and Westside Steak and BBQ. He also operated a handyman service in Worcester.

Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, June 20, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., with a Funeral Service starting at 7 p.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, MA 01605.
