Edward W. Lee, 74, of Sterling, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Sterling Village surrounded by his loving family.

Edward was born on July 29, 1949 in Worcester, a son of the late May (Booth) Marengo. He enlisted in the United States Marines where he served his country in Vietnam, proudly before being honorably discharged. Edward graduated from Wave Technology and worked as a technician for Microsoft. He was a member of the Marine Corps League in Worcester and a member of the Military Order of Devil Dogs, Pound # 64.  Edward was an avid Harley Davidson rider, hunter, fisher, and loved computers but most of all loved spending time with his family, especially playing games with his grandchild, Gage.

Edward is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Charlene Laperle-Lee; his daughter, Taryn Turgeon and her husband Ronald of Sterling; a grandchild, Gage Turgeon of Sterling; a brother, John Abruzzise and his wife Denise of Dudley; nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by a brother, TJ Abruzzise and a sister, Karen Abruzzise.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, May 23rd from 11-12:30pm immediately followed by military funeral honors at 12:30 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester.
