Dora Danzilio

Dora D. (DiPilato) Danzilio, 96, of Worcester, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, in the comfort of her home. She is reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Anthony Danzilio, and their daughter, Cheryl Benoit, who died in 2012.

Dora is survived by her twin sons, John Anthony Danzilio of Worcester, and Anthony John Danzilio and his wife Jane Carlson of Hudson; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and Lorenzo. Dora was born in Bari, Italy, a daughter of the late, Giacamo and Josephine DiPilato and moved with her family to the United States, settling in Worcester in 1934.

Dora worked for many years as a seamstress. Foremost she was a dedicated wife and mother. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and its Golden Years group.

Service are being held privately and have been entrusted to Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel.
