Donna C. (Gentile) Forbes

Donna C. (Gentile) Forbes, 69, of Worcester, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. She was the beloved wife of the late, James G. Forbes.

Born on April 7, 1957, in Worcester, Donna was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Rose (Ditaranto) Gentile. She grew up in Worcester and graduated from North High School.

Donna was passionate about her dog and sidekick Katie. Whom, she loved going on adventures with. Whether it be, going for walks down Lake Park or just grabbing a coffee at Cumbies. She loved different types of music. Disco and Alice Cooper being some of her favorites. She was also an enthusiastic history buff. World War II being her main interest. Donna was happy person, as long as you didn't wake her up too early. She loved life and will be sadly missed by all the people's lives she touched.

Donna is survived by her loving son, Anthony Gentile of Auburn; her cherished cousin, Judy Gentile; her adored dog, best friend, and sidekick Katie; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Donna on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 5:00pm until her Prayer Service at 7:00pm in the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Worcester Animal Shelter or Vet's Inc.
