Donna M. Forte, 61, of Worcester, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 10, 2026.
Born on September 8, 1964, Donna was the beloved daughter of the late Robert M. Forte, who passed away on November 26, 2017, and Joan C. (Dupré) Forte of Worcester. Donna was a devoted and loving sister to Deb (Forte) Hicks-Spearin and her husband, Kevin, of Narragansett, Rhode Island; Diane Deschene and her husband, Kevin, of Douglas, Massachusetts; and Robert M. Forte Jr. and his wife, Ellie, of Harrisville, Rhode Island. She was a cherished aunt to Owen Hicks, Noah Hicks, Derek Deschene and his wife, Meredith; Danielle (Deschene) Bird and her husband, Eric; Rose Forte, Camden Klein, Jacob and Aaron Spearin. She was also a proud and loving great-aunt to Jaiden, Felicity, and Miller.
Donna lived life authentically, embracing each day with boundless enthusiasm, an adventurous spirit, and an infectious sense of fun. She had a magnetic personality and a radiant smile that could light up any room. Her laughter was contagious, her energy uplifting, and her presence made every gathering brighter. Donna had an extraordinary gift for making everyone she met feel genuinely welcomed, valued, and loved. She never hesitated to lend a helping hand, offer words of encouragement, or simply be there when someone needed a friend. Her kindness, generosity, and compassionate heart touched countless lives, and the love she shared will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, friendship, and unforgettable memories. Donna will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and never forgotten. Her beautiful spirit and shining light will continue to inspire those who loved her for years to come. Her family was the center of her world. Donna took immense pride in celebrating their accomplishments, milestones, and special moments together. Nothing brought her greater happiness than seeing those she loved thrive and knowing they were happy. One of Donna’s greatest joys was spending time with her dear friends, whom she lovingly referred to as her “sistas” Together they shared endless laughter, unforgettable adventures, and countless treasured memories. Donna had a special love for her Corvette. It was more than just a car—it was a symbol of her adventurous spirit, love of the open road, and the countless memories she created with family and friends along the way. Donna was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though her life was cut far too short, her radiant spirit, warm smile, generous heart, and unwavering love for family and friends will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Her legacy of love, laughter, compassion, and generosity will continue to inspire everyone whose life she touched. Although her passing was sudden and unexpected, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain with her family and friends forever. May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with her beloved father, while watching over all those she loved.
In accordance with Donna’s wishes, no formal funeral services will be held. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. The Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
