Dolores M. Mahoney

Dolores M. “Dee” (DelleFemine) Mahoney, 87 of Worcester passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 28, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Dee was born in Worcester, one of two daughters to the late Michael and Louise (Bizzarro) DelleFemine and where she graduated from Commerce High School. Dee worked as a bus driver for the City of Worcester School Department for many years before she retired.

Dee is survived by her husband of 63 years, Thomas F. Mahoney; four daughters, Teresa Coleman and her husband James of Cape Cod, Lynda Gauthier and her husband William, Michele Goodness and Karla Mahoney DeSantis all of Worcester; six grandchildren who affectionately called her “Nanny Dee Dee,” Tara Coleman, Heather Vaughn and her husband Kevin, Michael Coleman, Gena Vigliotti and her husband Joe, William R. Gauthier and his fiance Sarah, Leana Blash and her husband Aaron; ten great grandchildren, Liam and Brody, Jillian and Charlotte, Vincenzo and Rocco, Julian and Jaxon and Becca and Bobby. She is predeceased by her sister, Patricia Brousseau.

Services for Dolores will be held privately. MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
