Dimitrios “Jim” P. Tsikas, 59, of Cromwell, CT passed away at home on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. He is survived by his four sisters- Annalisa LeBlanc and her husband Charles of Worcester, MA, Jamie Avalla of Phoenix, AZ, Lori Kroh of Enfield, CT, and Maria Elena Tsikas of Chardon, OH, and brother Robert Robbio of Worcester. He is also survived by his nephews Paul Gardner, Brett Kroh, Kyle, wife Sarah Kroh and their children Melanie, Alexander and Andrea. He is predeceased by his brother Paul D. Tsikas.
Dimitrios was born in Leicester, MA, son of the late Andrea A. (Robbio) Tsikas-Hampton and James P. Tsikas. He was a graduate of Leicester High School. After graduation, he went on to work for Express Construction and Westport Pools traveling throughout the country. He then become an independent contractor. He designed and worked on prominent projects including Olympic swimming pools and water/amusement parks. Dimitrios enjoyed gambling and annual trips to Las Vegas. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a devoted brother and will be surely missed by all his friends and family.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026 from 9:30am – 11:30am at Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. A memorial service will follow at 11:30am in the funeral home. He will then be laid to rest at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton with his mother and brother. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dimitrios’s name may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America- 2121 K Street NW, Suite 200, Washington, DC 20037.
