Dianté Christal Spring

Dianté Spring, 36 of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 18, 2022 at UMass Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Dianté was born June 18, 1985 and has been a Worcester native her whole life. She graduated from Doherty High School, Class of 2003. She later attended Quinsigamond Community College. Dianté had a love for life, she brought so much joy and happiness everywhere she went. Dianté was the life of any party, her personality was infectious and she had the most contagious laugh. She loved playing online bingo, hanging out with her friends, shopping with Nana, and going to the casino with her mother, but more than anything she loved her son Kendrick.

 Dianté was a former member of Greendale People’s Church and would later attend services with her father at Life Church of Massachusetts. 

Dianté leaves behind her son, Kendrick B. Spring of Worcester; her partner Elmer Smith; her mother and step-father, Christal M. (Graham) Spring-Odom and Kevin A. Odom both of Worcester; her father and stepmother, Jeffrey A. and Wendy Spring of Marlborough; four sisters, Danielle Spring and her wife Julie Spring,  Demetria Odom of Worcester, Janine Spring of West Boylston, and Nataja Spring of Worcester; her maternal grandparents, Mildred Graham and Earl Blakeley both of Worcester; her paternal grandmother, Beverly Spring and her significant other Bennie Thornton of Worcester. Dianté had many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and a ton of Friends.  Dianté is predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Donald Spring, Sr. and her cousin and best friend, Nathan T. Watkins.

Relatives and friends are invited to a period of calling hours on Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 3-7 pm with her funeral service immediately following at 7 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester.  Those who are attending Dianté’s services are asked by the family to please not wear black, but instead wear bright colors to celebrate her colorful life.
