Dianna C. Bishop

Dianna Cecilia Bishop, 82, of Shrewsbury, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025, at Memorial Hospital in Worcester surrounded by family.

Dianna is survived by her two daughters, Victoria Borowski Duntzee and her husband William J, III of Leicester, and Natasha Borowski Beaulieu of Shrewsbury; her beloved granddaughter, Alexandra Simone Duntzee aka “The Baby”; two brothers, David Bishop of Provincetown and Allen Bishop of Shrewsbury; her grand dogs, four West Highland White Terriers, Holly, Rudy, Skye, and Gracie aka “Peppah”; nieces and nephews all who will forever cherish her memory. She was predeceased by her brother, Victor “Butch” Bishop. Dianna was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Victor and Vincenza “Janet” (Patruno) Bishop. She grew up in Shrewsbury. She was Mum to a few, Mimi to some, and Auntie to many.

Dianna worked for many years at Worcester State Hospital, retiring as Director of Housekeeping in 2002, after thirty-eight years of dedication. She enjoyed candlepin bowling and playing cards weekly. Her greatest joy was spending time with family, especially when cooking or baking for them. She spent many years hosting Christmas Eve and the Feast of Seven Fishes. She was also known for making delicious chocolate chip cookies and pasta with meatballs and gravy.

Memorial Calling Hours will be on Thursday, June 12, from 9:30 am until 11:30 am, followed by a Prayer Service at 11:30 am, in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
