It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of David D. Hall, 76, of Warren, on Thursday, April 9, 2026. He was the beloved husband of the late Steven Carlson. A loved brother-in-law to Jean and Dale Hager of Putman, CT.
Born in Worcester on March 26, 1950, David was the son of the late David L. and Faye (Prouty) Hall. Youngest brother to Sharon (Hall) Giordani of Standish, ME and the late Linda (Hall) Ferrie of Worcester, MA.
David was renowned for his gourmet cooking, loved animals and finding and refurbishing antiques. David and his partner Steven lived in West Warren for most of their adult lives, especially Stevens' final years in a home they built together and loved. David was an amazing host and always was willing to have guests over and cook for them. He was always greatly involved in his community whether it being church or the people in the same housing complex. David was a one of a kind soul that made everyone he encountered smile and laugh.
David is survived by his loving Sister Sharon Girodani of Worcester, and her children, Brandi-Lynne Giordani of Worcester, MA, GingerLee (Giordani) Sardinha and husband Steven Sardinha and their children Tyler, Angelo, Trinity and Aria , of Naples, Fl, Lexi & Jay Giordani and Lexis’ sons Mario Xavier and Lincoln, of Worcester, MA, Robert Giordani Jr. and his wife Geraldine Giordani of Standish, ME. David also leaves his late Sister Linda Ferrie of Worcester, MA sons Daivd Ferrie and his wife Annette Ferrie and their daughters Amanda and Lynne of Auburn, MA and Michael Ferrie of Mt. Dora, FL and his children LaRyia and Darien of Jerome, MI. David also leaves his Cousin and closest Friend Linda Langway of Webster, MA. Along with many cousins and lifelong friends.
Though David is no longer with us, we will forever miss him, we will carry him with us in all that we do.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in David’s memory to Second Chance Animal Shelter.
