Christopher M. Spencer, 61, of Worcester passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 5, 2025, at his home in Worcester.
Christopher is survived by his best friend and husband of nearly twenty-four years, Allan W. Jung; his father Richard Spencer; a brother, Rick Spencer; a sister, Wendy Keefe; his mother-in-law, Brenda Jung; two sisters-in-law, Heidi Mondano and her husband John, and Anita Runne and her husband Patrick; nieces, nephews; and many friends. Christopher was born in Buffalo, NY, son of the late, Jeanette (Elek) Spencer, and grew up in Barrington, RI, where he graduated from Barrington High School. He later graduated from Worcester State College and from Anna Maria College with a degree in Human Resource Management.
Christopher worked as Human Resource Manager at UrthPact in Leominster; and was a contributing food writer for the MetroWest Daily News, Telegram & Gazette, and Worcester Living Magazine. He enjoyed sharing his culinary creations with friends and family and had an extensive collection of cookbooks authored by chefs around the world. He enjoyed all things nautical, being with friends, and creating gift baskets for those he cared about. Christopher’s attention to detail made anything he created a masterpiece. He enjoyed sharing his life with Allan and their three dogs over the past twenty-five years; Leo, Puddy and finally Chloe.
