Charles H. Torosian, 73, of Sutton, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Saint Vincent Hospital, after a long battle with cancer surrounded by loving family.
Charles is survived by his loving wife, Gertrude (Beauregard) Torosian; a son, Natale Algieri and his wife Kristina of Worcester; three daughters, Arlene Reynolds of Oxford, AL, Tommie Rae Mills of Banning, CA, and Miriam R. Conway and her husband Sean of Princeton; a son in law, David Sliney; fifteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Joanna M. Sliney in 2022, by a grandson, Samuel, and by his brother, Robert Torosian. He was born in Worcester, son of the late, Harry B. and Mary (Demirjian) Torosian, growing up in Worcester he was part of the first men’s class to graduate from David Hale Fanning “Girl’s Trade”, and there was nothing he couldn’t cook.
Charles was a flooring salesman for many years with NRF and Home Depot, having started his career as a marketing rep for Getty Gas; but foremost he was an ordained minister since 1977 with the United Christian Church. For many years he hosted a Saturday radio ministry on WVNE 760AM, ministered at the Concord Correctional Facility, Pastored a Congregation at the Orange Armory and presided over many weddings and funerals. His knowledge of the Bible and The Word of God was second nature to him, and he enjoyed sharing stories from the Good Book of life delivering food for the soul. In his last few months he had the privilege of leading the men's Bible study at The Mill Church, which gave him great purpose. Charles was a great historian who had an overall gift of knowledge that he would share with anyone.

The family has entrusted Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel.
