Charles "Ched" Fey

Charles E. “Ched” Fey, 77, of Worcester a former New York City, Police Officer, passed away peacefully October 24, 2025.

Ched was born in New York City, Charles was one of several children of the late Charles E. Fey, Sr., Raised in New York, after graduation from High School, he joined the U.S. Navy, serving his country proudly during the Vietnam War. Upon discharge and return home, Ched, joined the New York City, Police department working as a police officer many years before retiring.

He is survived by, four children, Michael Fey, in New York, Christopher Fey in Michigan, Valerie Liguyna of Worcester and Brian Fey of Shrewsbury; 9 grandchildren; Nieces, nephews, extended family, brothers and sisters.

Charles enjoyed Model Trains, cruises, his children and grandchildren. He was honored to serve his country in the Navy and as a New York City Police officer.

There are no services planned. Charles will be buried at a later date. The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
