Carola E. Lareau

Carola E. (Kullberg) Lareau, 81, of Worcester, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026, with her devoted husband at her side.

Carola is survived by her loving husband of nearly fifty-nine years, Raymond G. Lareau, Sr.; two loving children, Raymond G. Lareau, Jr. and his wife Merrie of Epping, NH, and Charlene D. Benoit and her husband Craig of Worcester; six grandchildren, Makayla, Jenna, CJ, Kyle, Justin, and Nicholas; six great grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Margaret M. Peltola and her husband Martti of Westminster; nieces and nephews. Carola was born in Svartå, Finland, daughter of the late, Lars and Karin (Anderson) Kullberg. She graduated from North High School in Worcester and from Worcester Junior College.

Carola worked as a payroll clerk for many years with ADP. After retiring, she worked as a grocery store cashier, because she didn’t want to spend too much time with Ray, even though she loved him,. She had belonged to Immaculate Conception Church and enjoyed her grandchildren, knitting, sewing, and crochet.
