Carol-Ann (Paldino) Tessier, 74, of Worcester, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2025, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, after battling Pancreatic Cancer. Her loving husband of forty-eight years, Michael J. Tessier, predeceased her in 2021.
Carol-Ann leaves a son, Scott M. Tessier and his fiancé Leodalys Flores; a daughter, Michelle Rodriguez and her husband Robert; two sisters, Dorothy Lizotte and Bernadette Genatassio; three grandchildren, Anthony Cruz Tessier, Brittany Tessier, and Marianna Cruz; two great grandchildren, Athena and Aiden; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five siblings, Samuel Paldino, Peter Paldino, Donald Paldino, Anthony Paldino, and Lousie Riopel. Carol-Ann was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Pasquale and Mary C. (Generelli) Paldino, and has lived here all her life.
Carol-Ann and Michael operated Libby’s Restaurant on Plantation Street, before opening Porto Bello Restaurant on Shrewsbury Street, where they hosted good food and great times with their loyal customers and strangers who quickly became friends.
Carol-Ann enjoyed travelling to Florida and spending time at the beach with friends. Her family was foremost in her life, and she cherished the special times spent with them.
Calling Hours will be on Tuesday, August 19, from 9:30 am until her Funeral Service begins at 11 am in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Entombment will follow at Saint John’s Cemetery, Worcester.
