Carmella (Maffei) Paldino

Carmella (Maffei) Paldino, 95, of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 22, 2024. 

Carmella was born in Worcester on June 5, 1929, to John and Mary (Inangelo) Maffei.

Carmella loved watching old movies, cooking for her family, taking rides to play bingo at Foxwoods, and enjoyed many winters in Florida with family. 

Sadly, in addition to her beloved husband Samuel Paldino, and parents, Carmella was predeceased by her sister Rita Budano, and daughter in-law Diane Paldino.

Carmella is survived by her loving sons, John Paldino of Worcester (Lucille Covello), and James Paldino of Worcester, her adored grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Steven, Deanna Paldino, and her great-granddaughter Ava Stankus. Her sister Antoinette Beer and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and Aunt Mary St Hiliare.

Mercadante Funeral Home has been honored for assisting the family with cremation services. A graveside service will be held privately at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carmella’s memory to Saint Jude's Hospital.
