Carlos "Umpa" Morales, Sr.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Carlos Morales, Sr., 66, of Worcester, on Saturday, November 8, 2025.

Born in the Bronx, New York on October 1, 1959, Carlos was the fourteenth of eighteen children to the late Pedro Ray Luna and Minerva Morales.

Carlos was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend, but known as “Pops” to many. He was renowned for his incredible talent as an auto mechanic.

Carlos is survived by his beloved wife, Mellody “Dee Dee” Morales; his loving children, Carlos Morales, Jr., Christian L. Morales, Sr., Crystal M. Morales, and Keith D. O’Rouke; his adored nine grandchildren as well as his great grandchildren; his cherished eighteen siblings; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Though Carlos is no longer with us and we will forever miss him, we will carry him with us in all that we do.

Calling hours will be held for Carlos on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 11:00a.m. until his Funeral Service at 2:00p.m. in the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
