Bruce T Capman

Bruce T. Capman of Worcester, MA (70 years of age), former Executive Health Officer for the Board of Health in the Town of Hingham died Saturday June 11, 2022. Born in Worcester, Bruce was the son of the late Donald W. Capman and Winifred T. (Arnold) Vient.

Bruce is survived by his two sons, Nicholas T. Capman and his wife Edilene and their two children Vinicius and Melyssa, Blake E. Capman and his fiancé Ariane Doux, as well as his brother Donald Capman and his wife Bonnie.

Bruce was the Executive Health Officer for the Town of Hingham for 30 years, with 43 years of total service in public health, retiring in June of 2017.  Bruce is regarded by his children as their hero who sacrificed his life for their benefit and for the benefit of their families.

Funeral services for Bruce will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at the Mercadante Funeral Home and Chapel located at 370 Plantation Street in Worcester, MA.  Calling hours will be from 5:00 - 8:00pm with a prayer service to be held at 7:00pm.  Burial will be private at a later date.
