Bella M. Dimuro

Bella M. (Clemente) Dimuro, 93, passed peacefully on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at the Life Care Center of Auburn. She is survived by her three children, Donna L. Murtari and her husband Fredrick of North Grafton; Joanne O’Connor of Sutton; and Joseph A. Dimuro, Jr. and his husband Christopher Looby of Los Angeles, CA; five grandchildren, Cindy Johnson; Gina Etter; Tara O’Connor; Kimberly Osterman; and Ryan O’Connor, five great-grandchildren; brother Richard Clemente; her devoted niece and "third daughter" Virginia Mitchell; and her companion Franklin Fisher and his family. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years Joseph A. Dimuro in 2002, brothers Gerald Clemente and John Clemente, and son-in-law John F. O’Connor.

Bella was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Joseph and Cinderella (Inangelo) Clemente. She was a skilled seamstress trained at Worcester Girls’ Trade school and was a member of Our Lady of Loreto. In addition keeping a clean and loving home, she was at times a clerk, a saleswoman, a maker of ornaments, and a much-loved cafeteria lady in the Worcester Public Schools.

True to her Italian heritage, Bella's cooking was unsurpassed, as was her joy in feeding people. She showered her loved ones with crocheted afghan blankets, trays of cookies, and many gifts of all kinds. Bella adored spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, all of whom meant the world to her. She treated everyone she met as family and enjoyed the thrill of casinos, music, and any place where people gathered to have fun.

A calling time will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 from 11:00am-12:00pm at Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. A funeral service will follow at 12:00pm in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester.
