Artine “Harry” Gorgodian, 89, of Worcester, passed away on September 29, 2026. He will be remembered for his quick wit, generous heart, love for God, and kindness he showed to those around him.

Originally from Beirut, Lebanon, Harry came to Massachusetts and made his home in Worcester. He spent much of his working life as a taxi driver- lovingly remembered as “Arrow Cab #1.” He enjoyed meeting people and bringing Dunkin’ Donuts to friends and loved ones, a simple gesture that reflected his thoughtful, generous spirit.

Harry loved cars and was happiest working with his hands, fixing things, and bringing them back to life. He often brought home old cars to repair, seeing potential where others may not.

He loved God and treasured Scripture, finding comfort and strength in His Word. He was an active member of Sacred Heart- St. Catherine of Sweden Parish. His faith and caring heart shone through the way he showed up for others. If someone needed help, Harry was there, giving his time, love, and support generously.

With his playful humor and clever “smart aleck” remarks, Harry could turn an ordinary moment into a reason to smile. He leaves a legacy of laughter, countless dad jokes, and loving memories his family and friends will cherish.

Harry leaves behind his three daughters- Lana Coon, Odette Gorgodian, and Amanda Gorgodian; five beloved grandchildren; and his dear beloved friends Ron Valentine and Rosemary Kempton; and many other loved ones who will hold his memory close.

His family takes comfort in knowing he is now at peace in God’s loving care. His humor, kindness, and love will live in the hearts of those who knew him.
