Listen to Obituary

Anthony P. Cogoli, 67 of Auburn, MA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, in Worcester, surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his wife, Julia M. (Lindley) Cogoli of Worcester, daughters, Kristy Cogoli, Cheri Cogoli and husband Joshua Linfield, Kelly Driscoll and husband Jonathan Driscoll, Michelle Pescheta and husband John Pescheta, Emily Cogoli and sons, Robert Cogoli and wife Jill Cogoli and Anthony Cogoli Jr. Although he was proud of his children and all their accomplishments, he was an even prouder Bam-Bam to his Grandchildren, Ricky, Alex, Brooke, Trevor, Robbie Jr. Raelynn, Jeffrey, Thomas, Jean Jr., Isabella, Kennedy, Olivia and soon to be Benjamin. He took immense joy in their accomplishments, often expressing his pride in his own unique way. While he might not have always shown it in the most traditional sense, his love and admiration for his family were clear to those who knew him, and he always talked highly of each of them.

Born in Worcester, Anthony was the son of the late, John and Shirley Cogoli of Auburn, Predeceased brother, Steven Cogoli and survived by his brother John Cogoli of Florida and Dean Cogoli of Connecticut.

Anthony truly appreciated the simple pleasures in life. He loved being outdoors, whether it was casting a line, hunting a buck, or just sitting to side watching his grandchildren play. His life was a testament to the strength of the human will and the stubbornness of a man who refused to bow to faith. Although his journey has ended, he will always be remembered as the man who had 9 lives. Love you always.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to show immense gratitude and thanks to the nurses and doctors at UMASS Medical Center.
