Anne E. Chagnon

Anne E. (Boule) Chagnon, 71 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 10, 2023 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Anne was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Edward J. and Dorothy (Davidson) Boule.  She graduated from Worcester Schools and later received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from Worcester State College.  Anne worked many years as a massage therapist for Paul Conzo’s and Rayanne Physical Therapy before she retired.  

Anne loved knitting, reading, vacationing to Wells, Maine annually with her family, traveling worldwide with her husband before he became ill but most of all spending quality time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Anne’s beloved husband of 43 years, Norman L. Chagnon, Jr., passed away on May 27, 2018.  She is survived by her son, FF Nathan L. Chagnon, Sr. and his wife Alicyn of Sutton; her daughter, Danielle Chagnon-DiPietro and her husband Matthew of Oxford; her brother, Rick Boule and longtime companion, Catherine Meyer; her sister, Suzanne Bussolari and her husband Robert all of Boylston; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Chagnon and Nathan L. Chagnon, Jr. both of Millbury, Tyler, Dylan and Olivia DiPietro all of Oxford; many nieces and nephews.

A period of calling hours will be held on Friday, December 15, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm with her funeral service to begin immediately at 7:00 p.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester.  Burial will be held privately.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: Bonnie J.
