Angela Lee (Brosnan) Favulli, 73, of Worcester, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at UMass Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Angela is survived by her loving husband and best friend of forty-nine years, Steven Favulli, Sr; their children, Stephanie Nordahl and her husband Erik, Steven Favulli, Jr. and his wife Lauren, Jennifer Argüello and her husband Ignacio; and ten adored grandchildren: Hannah, Emma, Erik, and Julia Nordahl; Adrian, Maria, Lorenzo, and Nina Favulli; and Matteo and Luca Argüello. She also leaves her brothers- and sisters-in-law Paul and Nancy Favulli, Joseph and Cindy Favulli, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Angela was born in Worcester and has lived here all her life. She was the beloved daughter of Katherine “Kitty” (Armenti) Foley and Paul “Duke” Foley. She was predeceased by her brother, Mark. She was a graduate of Burncoat High School, Class of 1971 and attended Salter Secretarial School. On October 2, 1974 she met Steve and they were married on January 22, 1977 in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Worcester, MA.
Angela’s career spanned various roles; she worked for many years in the Worcester Public Schools as a Teacher’s Aide at Clark Street School and Granite Street School, and in the lunch program at Harlow Street School. Angela always planned to be home with her children and a schedule that followed theirs allowed her to do just that. She was happy to head to work each day but happiest picking them up each afternoon. Before working in the schools, Angela worked for State Mutual Life Insurance and Fallon Clinic. Wherever she worked, Angela made strong connections with her colleagues and the communities she served. She was always willing to lend a hand and carried out her work with pride.
Angela and Steven made a wonderful team and raised a beautiful and tight knit family. She loved to be surrounded by her loved ones and was happiest when she had them all gathered around her table for “Sunday Dinner,” birthday parties, and many holiday celebrations. She fed them with great food and endless helpings of love. Her grandchildren were the lights of her life; she cherished being a “Nonni” and took great pride in being able to care for all 10 of them in the years following her retirement. She always followed their events and accomplishments, beaming with pride as she watched them grow.
Calling Hours will be on Thursday, May 28, from 4 pm to 7 pm at MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
