Jeffrey A. Green

Jeffrey A. Green, 60, of Wayland, formerly of Shrewsbury passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2008 in UMASS Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his family. He is survived by is devoted wife, JoAnn (Thomas) Green; his two daughters, Krista Green Pratt and her husband Joshua of Wayland and Jaime Smith and her husband Matthew of Denali Park, Alaska; his mother Antoinette (Lataille) Green; a sister, Karen Cyganiewicz of Southbridge and a cherished grandson, Declan Pratt of Wayland. He is predeceased by his sister Sandra LaBreck. Jeffrey was born in Southbridge, Massachusetts on February 13, 1948, son of the late Clarence Green. He was a graduate of Central Connecticut State College receiving his bachelor Degree in Business. Jeff was a Shrewsbury resident for over 30 years, recently moving to Wayland in 2007. Jeffrey was a procurement specialist for nearly thirty years for Allmerica Insurance Company and most recently with MetLife Insurance Company where he was currently working up until his death. Jeff was a member of Saint Anne Church. He loved the Jeep Wrangler, walking and hiking, home improvement and reading, but his most precious times were those spent with his family. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be missed dearly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, March 15th at 9:30 A.M. in Saint Anne Church, 130 Boston Tpke, Shrewsbury. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Route 30 (Commonwealth Road), Wayland. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Jeffrey's name may be made to the Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
