Lucy S. Gallicchio, 82, formerly of East Central St. passed away peacefully, December 29th, 2007 in the Dodge Park Rest Home. Lucy is survived by a sister, Phyllis Bouvier and a brother Patsy Gallicchio both of Worcester; many devoted nieces and nephews, who loved and cared for her dearly. One of eight children born to Antonio and Rosina (DiLillio) Gallicchio, she was pre deceased by four brothers, Frank, Michael, William and Rocco Gallicchio and a sister Clara Roncone. She has lived here all her life. Lucy was a member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, and it's Golden Years. She also was a member of the Dodge Park Rest Home 76's band. She loved to paint, play bingo and enjoying good times with family and friends. The funeral will be held Wednesday, January 2nd, from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. A period of visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to the Mass.
