Mario A. Pucci, 85, formerly of 3 Marcone Rd, passed away peacefully, Monday, May 5th 2008 in the Knollwood Nursing center after an illness. Mario is survived by his beloved wife and partner of 66 years, Rose (Ventura) Pucci; his devoted daughter, Rosalie Thomas of Salisbury; a sister, Nella Pucci in Worcester; four cherished grandchildren, Michelle Zorge, Marc Thomas, Kenneth Neale, Jr. and Jennifer Neale; three great grandchildren, Ashley and Justin Zorge, and Alexander Thomas. Many nieces and nephews. A son, Robert Pucci passed away in 1986. A daughter, Lisa Neale passed away in 2000. He was born in West Boylston, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Americo Pucci and has lived in Worcester all his life. Mario worked more than 50 years for the Wright Line Company before retiring. He was a member of St George Church and its men's club. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, Mario took great pride in his family, their accomplishments and their company. He cherished the moments he was with and around them. He will be greatly missed. The funeral will be held Friday, May 9th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. George Church, 40 Brattle St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 8th in the funeral home.
