Pasquale "Pat" A. Frasco, 72, of Northborough, a man who dearly loved his family and grandchildren, passed away, Wednesday, February 13, 2008, in Marlborough Hospital. He leaves his best friend and beloved wife of forty-seven years, Gabrielle E. (Plouffe) Frasco, from whom he was inseparable. A daughter in law, Christine M. (Vigliotti) Frasco of Worcester; two grandchildren, Eric Frasco of Wilmington and Danielle Frasco of Worcester; a brother, Nino Frasco of Cypress, California; two sisters, Aster Scarpone of Worcester, and Elizabeth Occhialini of Holden; many nieces and nephews. His son, Steven B. Frasco, pre-deceased him in March 2004. He was also pre-deceased by a brother, James Frasco. Pat was born in Worcester son of Pasquale and Antoinette (Spano) Frasco, and graduated from Commerce High School. He then served in the United States Coast Guard, before meeting and marrying his loving wife. Together they lived in Shrewsbury for thirty years, before moving to Northborough thirteen years ago. Pat worked for over twenty-five years for Rand-Whitney Container Corporation in Worcester, before he retired as head of shipping. He was a member of Saint Rose of Lima, The Police Chiefs Association, and A.A.R.P. Pat enjoyed the Patriots, the Red Sox, American History, especially the Civil War, World Wars I and II. The funeral for Pat will be held Saturday, February 16, from MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in Saint Rose of Lima Church, 244 West Main Street, Northborough. Interment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. A calling hour will be held Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. in the funeral home, immediately prior to departing for church.
