Ronald W. "Ron" Dube, 60, of Holden, passed away peacefully, Friday, March 21st in the Memorial Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Ron, was born in Worcester, son of the late Wildred and Ann (DiMarzio) Dube, he graduated from Worcester Boys trade and has lived here all his life. Ron leaves two brothers, Stephen Dube of Worcester; David Dube and his wife Patti of Old Orchard Beach, Maine; an Aunt, Lena Cornacchioli, cousins and his best friend and companion Katie Pastor of Worcester. Ron worked many years as a carpenter for various companies including Pomco. The past 15 years Ron has worked for Wright line Corporation in Worcester. Ron was a West Boylston St. icon. He was an avid fan of sports. He enjoyed visiting the local establishments for a beer and conversation. He will be missed by all. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family, Tuesday, March 25th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. The funeral will be held Wednesday, March 26th from the funeral home with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Christopher Church, 950 West Boylston St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 350 Plantation St Worcester 01604.
