Gloria M Popillo

Gloria M. (Sargentelli) Popillo, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at the age of 86. She had just arrived back in Worcester, after living in Clearwater, FL for 34 years. Her husband of sixty-two years, Jerry J. Popillo, passed away on February 8, 2009. She leaves two daughters, Sandra (Kenneth) Blood of South Carolina, and Sharon Popillo of Barre, MA; a granddaughter Jennifter (Andrew) Traub and a great granddaughter Julia Rose Traub of Blue Hill, ME a sister Virginia (Sargentelli) Frankian of Worcester and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by parents, Albert and Emelia (DelGreco) Sargentelli; two bothers and three sisters. A memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel -St. Ann Church, 24 Mulberry Street, August 10th at 11:00 AM. The family requests no flowers. MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements.
