Beatrice V. (Cote) LaBouef, 87, of Worcester died peacefully Sunday January 3, 2010 at home surrounded by her loving family. Her husband Raymond J. LaBouef died in 1981. Beatrice is survived by her loving family; two sons Robert D. LaBouef and his wife Deborah of Springhill, Florida, Richard R. LaBouef of Worcester and his late wife Paula, Two daughters; Gloria J. Allen and her husband Charles of Worceser, and Susan Mercadante and her fiancé Paul Kowalski of Shrewsbury, fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren, and several neohews and nieces. She was predeceased by a brother Milford Cote. Beatrice was born in New Britain, Ct. daughter of the late Homer and Alice (Chalifoux) Cote and came to Worcester as a child. She attended St. Josephs School. And was a member of Holy Family/St. Joseph Church. She enjoyed being a homemaker. Beatrice enjoyed bingo, playing cards, and loved to crochete. However she really enjoyed being with her family especially her grand and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. The funeral for Beatrice will be held Friday from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00AM in Holy Family/St. Joseph Church 35 Hamilton St. Calling hours in the funeral home are from 5-8PM on Thursday. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Flowers may be sent or contributions made to a charity of choice.
