Patricia M. Casey,65, died January 5, 2010 in St. Vincent Hospital. She was born in Worcester on July 21, 1944, daughter of Paul A. and Gertrude M. (Flynn) Casey. She grew up on her beloved Vernon Hill, graduating from the former Ascension High School in 1963. She was later employed by the city of Worcester in the City Clerks office and after that in the Police Dept. Bureau of Records. She then worked in the Fallon Clinic Office in Westboro. She leaves a daughter, Meghan K. Medlinskas Lightbown and her husband Robert of Caribou, ME., A brother and sister in law Francis J. and Roberta A. Casey of Worcester, a niece Laurie M. Collins and her husband Robert of Worcester, a nephew Matthew P. Casey and his wife Susan of Stanton, CA. and three grand nephews Justin and Bryan Langhill and Cameron Casey, and her feline friend Max. A daughter, Kelly A. Gagne, age 6, died from Reyes Syndrome in 1976. Patricia was a loving person who loved to be with people, and was always concerned with helping them through volunteer work. She enjoyed being with her family, and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday January 12, 2010 at 11:00AM in St. Stephens Church 357 Grafton St. (those attending are asked to go directly to church) There are no calling hours.
