Rickey Coleman, 53 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at home surrounded by his family. Rickey is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Irma Faye (Parkmam) Coleman; two sons, Carl and Michael Lokko; a daughter, Sparkle Lokko all of Worcester; four brothers, John Avery and his wife Sarah of Anniston, AL, Larry Coleman and his wife Francine of Rutland, Jerry Coleman and his wife Susan of Worcester and Melvin Coleman and his wife Jennifer of Los Angeles, CA; four sisters, Julia Foster and her husband William of Oxford, AL, Linda Dussey and Patricia Coleman both of Worcester and Lorraine Coleman of Anniston, AL; five grandchildren, Damian, Michael, Marques, Dante and Jahiem. He is predeceased by a brother, M.C. Coleman, Jr. Rickey was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, a son of the late M.C and Mamie (Smith) Coleman. He attended Tuscaloosa High School and later served his country in The United States Army. His greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his family. Service for Rickey will be held on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. A period of calling hours will be held on Friday, October 26th from 9-11 a.m. in the funeral home prior to his service. Flowers are welcome.
