Joseph R. Blondin, Jr., 56, of Worcester, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2017, at UMass Hospital, with his loving mother and his long-time companion Paula Giangregorio at his bedside. He is survived by his son, Joseph R. Blondin, III of New York City; a daughter, Sarah Beauregard and her husband Matthew of Assonet, MA; his mother, Dorothy “Dot” (Varin) Blondin of Worcester; two sisters, Marie St. Martin of Warren, and Michelle L’Esperance and her husband John Paul of Worcester; two grandchildren, Lucas and Lana Beauregard; nieces and nephews. Joseph was born in Worcester son of the late, Joseph R. Blondin. He graduated from Boy’s Trade High School and has lived here all his life. He worked as a machinist at Warner-Swasey Company. He will be missed by his family, but they take comfort in knowing that he is reunited with family members that have gone before him. Funeral Services will be held privately. Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, Worcester, is assisting his family with arrangements.
