She worked for the Worcester School Department for many years and was also employed at Walmart and John & Sons Market. DeDe loved anything Purple, she had an impeccable green thumb, and loved all her knick knacks that she bought at flea markets. She loved to clean her house with the Oldies music blaring. She enjoyed every minute of her life and lived it to its fullest. She loved being with her family especially her son and granddaughter. DEDE WAS ONE TOUGH COOKIE. NOBODY WOULD MESS WITH HER, MAN OR WOMEN. She always stuck up for the underdog and any one in need. She was fun to be with, her family used to call her Dicky Albert because she would call them all early in the morning and wake them up when there was no school! She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. In memory of DeDe please wear something PURPLE when attending her services. Calling hours for DeDe will be held on Wednesday December 27, 2017 in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. from 5PM to 7PM. A Prayer service will be held at 7PM.
