RoseAnn (Christopher) Griffin

RoseAnn (Christopher) Griffin, 57, of Worcester passed away after a brief illness on December 12, 2017 with her beloved family gathered around her. RoseAnn was born December 27th, 1959, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, daughter of John C. Christopher and Rosemarie (Luisi) Christopher. As a young child she grew up in the Boston area and then settled in the Worcester area where she worked as a unit secretary for Umass-Memorial Healthcare. She retired due to illness and moved to Lakeland, Fl to be near most of her grandchildren to whom she was a beloved grandmother. She received great joy in anything creative and artistic, as well as, gardening and spending time with her family. RoseAnn is survived by her devoted children: Eugene Christopher, Joseph Brown Jr., Melissa Wilton (Brown) with wife Jasmine Wilton, Mario Garces Jr., Selena Griffin (Garces) with husband Antwon Griffin, and Vanessa Brito, siblings: John Christopher, Audrey Christopher, Joanne Larkins (Christopher), and Cynthia Cox, as well as several grandchildren. Memorial calling hours will be held Tuesday evening, December 19th from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. followed by a prayer service.  Burial will be held privately with her family.
