Therese (DeJordy) Sullivan, 88, of Shrewsbury died peacefully on Sunday January 7, 2018 in Worcester. She was predeceased by her husband Daniel G. Sullivan in 1992. Therese was born in Worcester on August 7, 1929 to the late Alfred and Irene (Alaire) DeJordy and lived in Shrewsbury for many years. Therese is survived by her loving family; her cherished niece, Susan Mulrooney and her husband David of Spencer, a niece Shirley Horne and her husband Robert, and their children of Georgia, two nephews, Richard DeJordy and his wife Janice of Worcester, and Robert DeJordy and his wife Leigh of Boylston and their children and grandchildren. She also leaves a great niece Melissa Huard and her husband Jeff and their two children Brenden Palmer and Kayla Huard, and great nephew Michael Brodeur and his daughter Kristen. Therese was predeceased by a brother Richard DeJordy and a sister Marguerite DeJordy. Therese was a graduate of Anna Maria College, Paxton class of 1966.She lived in the religious life for 18 years and worked as a teacher. During her married years she worked in Social Services. A period of calling hours will be held on Saturday January 13 from 9AM to 10:00AM in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME AND Chapel 370 Plantation St. and then depart for her funeral Mass of Christian burial at 10:30AM in the Church of St. Anne. 130 Boston Turnpike Shrewsbury.
