Pasquale Mastrototaro, 89, of Lynn formerly of Worcester died peacefully Wednesday January 17, 2018 in the loving care of his nephew and niece Michael & Tina Mastrototaro of Worcester. Pasquale is survived by a sister Sophia Sciammacco-Welch of Worcester, and many nephews and nieces and great nephews and great nieces. Pasquale was predeceased by his brothers Maurice who was Worcester's first casualty of World War 11 killed in Action at Pearl Harbor, Anthony, Andrew, and Maurice 2nd, and his sisters, Elizabeth Cavalieri, Theresa Peterson, Ida DeMauro, Mary Alexandrov and Lena D’onofrio. Pasquale was born in Worcester son of the late Joseph and Dora (Parziale) Mastrototaro and lived here many years. He attended Commerce High School. Pasquale served his country proudly in the United States Army during WW11.He was also a resident of Florida for many years where he owned and operated several companies before he retired and moved to Lynn. Pasquale loved visiting his sister Sophie and always made time to go visit the graves of all his family members also enjoyed watching horse racing at Suffolk Downs. He was very proud and close to his nephews Michael Mastrototaro Jr who he loved watching play college baseball and Nicholas Mastrototaro who served four years in the US Navy following in Pasquale deceased brother’s footsteps. A special thanks to the Hospice nurses, ambulance drivers and Fr. Nichols of St. Georges Church who performed last rights. He will be sadly missed. Per Pasquale’s wishes there are no calling hours or services planned at this time. After cremation his cremains will be scattered at the Pearl Harbor Monument where his brother was killed during the Pearl Harbor Attack.
