Mary (Landry) McGee, 95 of Worcester passed away peacefully with family by her side, Monday, January 22, 2018. Mary was born in Revere, one of six children of Canadian Immigrants Jeffrey and Mary (Callahan) Landry. Raised in Revere, Mary lived most of her life in Worcester, before retiring and residing in Pocasset on the Cape and Holiday Florida in the winter. She returned to Worcester several years ago. Mary’s husband and “Love of Her Life” Vincent A. McGee passed away in July of 2009. She is survived by the family she cherished, Cheryl Maloney and her husband Kevin with whom she lived, Vincent McGee and his wife Donna on the Cape, Dennis McGee and his wife Mary of Worcester, Michael McGee and his wife Therese of Mashpee, Timothy McGee and his wife Penelope of Bourne; a brother, Paul Landry; a sister, Bernice LaFlamme both of Worcester; thirteen Grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; four great, great grandchildren; Many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Besides her husband Vincent, Mary was also pre deceased by a grandson, Vincent McGee, a sister, Anna Agniti and two brothers, William and Herbert Landry. Mary enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading and especially her family. The matriarch of her family, nothing came before her husband, children, and grandchildren. The most enjoyable and proudest times of Mary’s life were those spent during Holidays, special occasions and dinners, where she also entertained the family playing the spoons and harmonica especially for the children. Mary’s funeral will be held, Thursday, February 1st from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St with a procession to Our Lady of Lourdes church, 1290 Grafton St where her Liturgy of Christian burial mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at a later date in Veterans Administration National cemetery in Bourne. A period of calling hours will be held from 9:00 am to 10:30 am prior to leaving for church.
