Richard A Conroy III

Richard A. Conroy III 29 of Worcester a registered nurse at St. Vincent Hospital died suddenly and unexpectedly at home on Sunday September 16, 2018.  Taken in the prime of his life, it is with great sadness and sorrow that Richard’s family makes this announcement to all who knew and loved him. 

Born in Worcester, Richard was a graduate of North High School and a member of the ROTC.  He received his associate’s degree at Quinsigamond Community College and then transferred to Anna Maria College where he earned his Bachelors in Nursing.  Richard was a Registered Nurse for the last eight years serving at the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center of Worcester, and most recently at Saint Vincent Hospital.  

Richard leaves a loving family and many friends including his parents, Richard A Jr. and Linda L (Remick) Conroy, three sisters, Michelle Embair and her husband Jeffery, Shannon L. Conroy, and Marlena Hanley, along with many nieces, nephews and close friends.  

Funeral services for Richard to honor his life and memory will be held on Friday September 21, 2018 at the Mercadante Funeral Home and Chapel 370 Plantation St. Worcester.  Calling hours will be from 4 to 8pm with a service at 7:30pm.  Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
