Paul H Vaillette

Paul H. Vaillette, 92 formerly of North Grafton, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 rejoining his beloved wife Rose (Antonucci) Vaillette who passed away in November of 2017.  

Paul is survived by his three devoted children, Kathleen Anne Holland and her husband John of Wakefield, David P. Vaillette and his wife Carolyn of Milford, NH, and Stephen J. Vaillette of Malden; two living brothers, Bernard Vaillette and Larry Vaillette both of Leominster; four grandchildren, Daniel Vaillette, Kathryn Rodgers, Emily Gurvis and John Holland; four great grandchildren, Carter, Charlotte, Ian and William; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Besides his devoted wife of 63 years, Rose; his brothers Edward Vaillette, Robert Vaillette, Edgar Vaillette, Wilfred Vaillette, Roger Vaillette and Ernie Vaillette and his sisters Lena and Madeline, all predeceased him.

Paul was born in Leominster, the son of Wilfred and Delia (Cote) Vaillette.  Raised in Leominster, Paul graduated from St Bernard’s High School class of 1943.  On September 11th 1954, Paul and Rose married, lived over 60 years in North Grafton, a short period in Westborough before moving to Worcester.  Paul worked many year as a Mechanical Designer Engineer for various companies retiring from Dennison Manufacturing Company in 1992.    

Paul enjoyed following all of the Boston sports team and he was a huge Patriot’s fan where he never missed a game.  He was very handy around his home and could practically fix anything.  He also enjoyed solving brain teaser type puzzles, reading the newspaper to keep up with world events and taking long walks for exercise.

Paul’s funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 19th 2018 at 12 noon in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St.  Burial with Rose will follow in St John Cemetery.   A period of calling hours will be held from 11:00 am to the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances in Paul’s name can be made to the American Heart Association. 300 5th Ave, Waltham, MA 02451
