Lillian A Rossetti

December 13, 1931 — November 6, 2018

Lillian A (Morgo) Rossetti 86 of Worcester died peacefully at home on November 6, 2018.  Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Congetta (Pasquerella) Morgo , a graduate of Commerce High School and a life long resident of Worcester.  Lillian was a long time member of the Christopher Columbus Lodge #168 Sons of Italy In America, a former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Saint Margaret Mary and most recently St. Anne Church of Shrewsbury. 

Lillian spent her whole life caring for her family.  She was a devoted mother and grandmother to her family, she was loved by all and will be greatly missed and remembered for generations. Lillian has left a special place that cannot be filled and will remain in her children’s hearts forever.

Lillian enjoyed family life, playing cards with her family and in-laws, taking occasional trips to Foxwoods , reading was her passion and the beach a place she always enjoyed with her family.  Lillian will be especially remembered for her love of Italian cooking and the dinners she prepared that brought so much joy to her family and friends.

Lillian leaves her son Anthony J. Rossetti Jr and his wife Aimee, two daughters, Linda Vescera and her husband Stephen Boffoli, Cindy Rossetti-Trapani and her husband James, one sister Helen Lorusso and her sister in law Theresa Morgo.  Lillian also leaves her beloved grandchildren Cara Davis, Kayla Rossetti, Krysta Rossetti, Lauren Vescera, Anthony J. Rossetti III, Vincent Rossetti, Nicole Rossetti, Marissa Rossetti and great grandchildren Madelynn Davis, and Steven Davis.  Lillian was pre-deceased by her brother Michael A. Morgo Jr., brother in-law Frank Lorusso Jr. and grandson John Michael Vescera.. 

Lillian’s funeral services and calling hours will take place on Saturday November 10, 2018.  Calling hours will be from 9-11:30 at the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. Worcester followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne Church 130 Boston Turnpike Shrewsbury.  Burial will follow in St John Cemetery Worcester.

Lillian’s family has requested that memorial donations be made in her grandson John Michael’s memory to the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation at www.kidney.org/atoz/content/polycystic
