Gabriella "Gabby" Lowell

July 11, 1998 — June 12, 2018

Gabriella V. “Gabby”  Lowell, a vivacious, bright and loving young lady, passed away Tuesday June 12th 2018 from injuries, suffered when she was struck by an automobile while crossing Grafton St. 

Gabriella was born January 11, 1998, in Worcester, the daughter of Alyson Lowell.   She was raised in the Grafton St neighborhood of Worcester, attended North High School and currently a student at Quinsigamond Community College.   She aspired to become a Veterinarian because of her love for animals and was studying to make that a reality.

Gabriella is survived by her devastated family; Her mother Alyson;  maternal grandparents, Ken and Donna Garabedian all with whom she lived; a sister, Azarya Jenkins in Florida; her godmother, aunt and uncle, Joan and Frederick Collins, Gina Harris and her husband Douglas of Chicopee, Jon and Jackie Lowell, and Sandra DeSimas; her best friend, Destinee Thomas with whom she had just left, her beloved cat Frank; step father, Alan Young; many cousins she considered sisters and brothers; extended family members and friends. 

Gabriella A simple, fun loving young lady, she cherished the time with her family, her friends and her cat. She loved music, dancing, macaroni and cheese, swimming, the beaches of Rhode Island, playing basketball, cruises and shopping with mom and grandma.  She always found the good in bad situations and made everyone around her laugh.

Private funeral services were held Saturday, June 16th. There were no calling hours.  Memorial remembrances in her name can be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 209 W Central St, Natick, MA 01760.  The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
