Domenica B Ciappenelli

Domenica B (Ruffo) Ciappenelli 99, wife of the late John S. Ciappenelli died July 24, 2018 at Beaumont of Worcester.  She leaves her son Donald and his wife Gloria, two grandchildren Robert Ciappenelli and his wife Elizabeth and Leah Ciappenelli and her spouse Elizabeth Faherty.  3 great grandchildren Benjamin, Andrew, and Dakota.  Her son Robert died in 1965. 

Born in Worcester she was the daughter of Angelo and Jessimina (Chioda) Ruffo and one of eight children who all pre-deceased her.  A lifelong resident of Worcester, Domenica graduated from Commerce High School and worked for Donahue Industries and DiPierro Plastics for many years. 

Domenica’s funeral services will be held on Monday July 30^th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. Worcester.  Calling hours will be from 9am to 11:30 am followed by a 12 noon Mass at Our Lady of Loreto Church 37 Massasoit Rd. Worcester.  Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery Worcester. 

In lieu of flowers Domenica’s family requests that memorial donations may be made in her memory to either Children’s Hospital in Boston or to St. Jude.  Contributions can be made at bostonchildrens.org/givenow.
