Denise (Sinnott) Pisegna

Denise A. (Sinnott) Pisegna, 60, of Worcester passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 1st, 2018 in her home.

Denise was born and raised in Worcester, a daughter of Joseph and Barbara (Mack) Sinnott. She graduated from Doherty Memorial High School and attended Worcester State College for several years. Denise worked as an office administrator at United Way and at the Better Business Bureau with her mother Barbara Sinnott. Early in her career she worked for the Department of Youth Services in Worcester.

Denise is survived by her Ex-husband Francis X. Pisegna; her three children, Jillian S. Pisegna of Worcester, Ashley B. Pisegna and her partner Thomas Brown of Quincy, and Justin F. Pisegna of Worcester; her sister, Valerie Quitadamo and her partner Jerry Powers of Worcester; brothers, Jeffrey A. Sinnott of Norfolk, Ma, Jonathan A. Sinnott and his wife Cheryl in Georgia; her friend and neighbor Brenda Marsh; her cat Star; extended family and friends.

Denise was a kind person who loved unconditionally and cherished her family and friends. She loved fashion and staying on trend. She also enjoyed watching TV, especially her soaps and Law and Order SVU. She also enjoyed music especially that of Aerosmith and Bruce Springsteen. In her youth, Denise was very active in local politics in the area.

Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours, Saturday, December 8th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. a prayer service will follow at 1:00 pm. Family will have a mercy dinner post service. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances in her name can be made to The Worcester Animal Rescue league, 139 Holden Street Worcester.
